Non-letting Construction Procurements

On occasion, the Chief Procurement Office oversees projects within its jurisdictions that are not a part of the regularly scheduled Highway Lettings. Information on those procurements are posted below.
The Chief Procurement Office for Highway Construction is responsible for overseeing procurements for all construction, construction-related services, operation of any facility, and the provision of any construction or construction-related services or activity committed by law to the jurisdiction or responsibility of the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), including the direct or reimbursable expenditure of all federal funds for which IDOT is responsible or accountable for the use thereof in accordance with federal law, regulation, or procedure. [30 ILCS 500 Section 1-15.15]
The Illinois Procurement Code requires the Chief Procurement Officer to provide information to the public concerning IDOT's procurements and procurement-related activities. Information includes, but is not limited to, awards, change orders, reports to the General Assembly, contractor suspensions, DBE waivers, conflict of interest statements, and emergency procurements. Innovative Project Delivery (IPD) Procurements
