  • The typical base plate Attached to Structure posts as used in IDOT Standard 630101-11 have a 1/2" base plate in lieu of a 5/8" base plate as shown on sheet 12 of the plans. Can the 1/2" base plate be used for this project? Also, the fabric pad under the base plate has been omitted by IDOT years ago. Can the fabric pads be omitted?
    Use the 5/8” base plate as detailed on sheet 12. The fabric pads can be omitted. (02/10/2025)

  • The incidental detailed Curled End Sections shown on sheet 9 of 22 in the plans, is not designed to attach to SPBGR. They are designed for attachment to tubular Bridge Rail. Can another design be provided?
    An addendum will be issued. (02/10/2025)
