  • The Special Provision states the DBE goal for this contract is 5%, the website states the DBE goal is 0%. Please confirm what the DBE goal is for this contract.

  • WEEKLY DBE TRUCKING REPORTS (BDE) Effective: June 2, 2012 Revised: January 2, 2025 The following applies to all Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) trucks on the project, whether they are utilized for DBE goal credit or not. The Contractor shall notify the Engineer at least three days prior to DBE trucking activity. The extra burden placed on the contractors and subcontractors to notify the department 3 days prior to using DBE trucks not being utilized for goal credit will discourage

  • Strong Post Guardrail: It appears that the Structure Number for this work is 044-7065. Without a plan it’s hard to know for sure. IF TRUE, the Plan Quantity is nearly double what it should be and should be amended. IF FALSE, please provide the correct structure number. A drawing showing IDOT intent would be really helpful. Please provide as-built drawings for this structure.

  • SPBGR (Short Radius) Plan Sht 31 details the short radius, however it excludes the TBT 2 within the pay length. This is unusual. The INCIDENTAL TBT 2 should be and typically is measured for payment. Please edit the drawing to its original pay length, which included the INCID TBT 2 length. This way IDOT will achieve the plan qty of 50 LF OR is it the intent for IDOT to pay for this with Pay Item 63100045. Schl of Qty shows 4 Each at this location.

  • Str. #044-0022 calls for Traf Bar Term Type 14 at each corner of the structure. Type 14's are designed for attachment to CO-10 Steel Railing. CO-10 Steel Railing does not exist on str. 044-0022. Are modified Terminals expected at this structure? If so, can a detail be provided?
