  • In the current contract year how many work order were issued under the contract?
    We are issuing work orders base on the total miles per cycle per expressway. Some expressways are more congested than others and may have more miles that need to be clean. Last year we used approximate 12 work orders on the Kennedy but that does not guarantee a minimum or maximum numbers of work orders that will be issue to this contract. (01/10/2024)

  • Has Illinois DOT ever provided assistance i.e., equipment, personnel, etc. for temporary traffic control in the current execution of the active contract?
    All required equipment and traffic control are the responsibility of the contractor. (01/09/2024)

  • I understand how the quantities will be given out through the work orders, however will the pages become available that show the actual area limits and ramps included, such as in previous contracts, usually around Page 11?
    The contract limits are shown in sheet 4 of the published plans. The special provision pages that had been used in previous iterations of this contract showing the litter picking cycle will no longer be used. (12/18/2023)

  • I am not able to locate the summary of the full cycle with mileage calculations as are in previous plans. Will these become available?
    The mileage quantity shown in the published plans will be divided amongst work orders that will be issue to the contractor specifying the number of miles on that specific limit set. (12/18/2023)
