Can you confirm anchor bolt material and anchor bolt dimension in standard units? Should this be 2 1/4"?
Anchor bolt material is Grade 105 (Grade 725) and full length galvanized consistent with Articles 1070.02 and 1006.09 of the Standard Specifications. The 57 mm diameter corresponds to 2 1/4" in standard units. (06/02/2026)

Can there be a pay item added for monitoring and disposal of regulated substances or is it to be included? Or can the dirt be disposed of on-site?
No regulated substances were identified during the design phase of the project, so monitoring and disposal of regulated substances is not anticipated. However, if any regulated substance is encountered during construction the changes to the Standard Specifications as listed in the special provision "Removal and Disposal of Regulated Substances (BDE)" would apply and payment would be made as an addition to the contract through the construction authorization process. Can the suggested metal ring to hold the correct bolt pattern be used at the top and the of the anchor bolts?
The bolt cage bottom should be supported as shown in the detail on Sheet 7. The metal ring for the top cannot be used for the bottom of the anchor bolts. (05/26/2026)
