PCC Concrete: There are several locations (7,8,9 and 10) where the posts are set in PCC concrete shoulder. Will it be acceptable to reuse the posts with the new guardrail installation or will the concrete need to be modified to accept new posts? IF modified, how will this be paid? Please provide ‘as built’ drawings of the concrete and or advise the depth of the concrete at these locatiions.

The project should be bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, and the plans and specifications available online (04/20/2022)
There are several locations where the existing posts are placed in existing HMA shoulder. Will it be acceptable to drive the posts through the existing pavement, like the existing post installation, or will core-drilling HMA be needed? IF coring is needed, please advise depth of HMA.
