Plan sheet 10 shows a "wood service rack" which Ameren NO longer allows. Are we to bid based off of that details with the strut racks on plan sheets 13 and 18?

The project should be bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, the plans and specifications, and addenda available online. (04/22/2022)
Per special provision for LUMINAIRES, LED(BDE), the lumens of type G&H are 15500 & 25200. The typical lights with similar lumens are not qualified and way lower than required average illuminance and luminance on Luminaire Performance Table, if using the roadway criteria in the table. Can you revisit the Luminaire Performance Table? As it stands, none of the manufacturers will qualify.

Can you help us clarify a couple items? 1) According to the last page on the plan “Luminaire Performance Table”, the arm length is 1FT. Is it a typo? Barely no light can meet the requirement if arm=1ft. 2) According to the last page on the plan “Luminaire Performance Table”, the criteria of DESIGNATION G & H are exactly the same. Can you please confirm?

1 Ft. arm length is correct. The criteria for the DESIGNATION G and DESIGNATION H shown in the Luminaire Performance Table is correct. The special provision for LUMINAIRES, LED (BDE) contains additional information including the lumen requirements for each luminaire type. (04/14/2022)
