The Guardrail per Schedule of Guardrail Quantities on sheet 16 will not fit between bridge and side roads and entrances. What adjustments can be made?

The project should be bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and the plans and specifications available online. A reduction of the Type A Guard Rail to fit the conditions will be determined by the Engineer in the field. (06/04/2020)
The General Notes say that the Guardrail Removal and Replacement must be completed in 1 calendar Day at Structures. If Guardrail has to be removed, shoulder cored, aggregate erosion control fabric and rock placed, and new guardrail installed, it is impossible in 1 calendar Day. What can be adjusted?

A contractor can do half or one quadrant at a time – just so long as it is finished that day. There can be no exposed guardrail end with no terminal end section protection overnight. (05/18/2020)
