Contract Specifics
Pursuant to the Rules for Prequalification of Contractors and Issuance of Plans and Proposals, 44 Illinois Administrative Code 650.70,... "This contract requires, in addition to the normal IDOT prequalifications requirements, that the Contractor be SSPC - QP1 and QP2 certified. Evidence of certification must be provided prior to receiving authorization to bid." Contractors are required to submit copies of current certificates for each Letting. These certificates must be submitted along with the contractor's original BC 57 Affidavit of Availability. (BC 57)

General Notes on drawing page 2 say to prep and paint the handrails when present. The existing handrails on both sets of bridges are unpainted galvanized and in extremely good condition. Are you sure it is your intent to prep and paint them?

Steel Handrails, when present shall be cleaned and painted. "Galvanized" steel handrails when present, shall not be cleaned and painted. (01/06/2021)
In the plans on sheet #8, it shows staging details for Contract 66L25 not for 66L26. Will there be an addendum showing the correct staging details for 66L26?

The staging details on sheet #8 are for Contract 66L26 and are the correct details. The reference to Contract 66L25 in the title block is a typo. No addendum is planned to correct the typo at this time. (01/05/2021)
