Combined vehicle and content weight limit for roadways at IDNR properties is 10 ton unless posted by sign. Speed limit is 20 M.P.H. on any paved, concrete, asphalt or or 10 M.P.H. on any unpaved, gravel or in any parking area unless posted by sign. Site Superintendent will grant written permission to contractors for this project to operate overweight vehicles with these conditions: 1. Heavy construction equipment being mobilized to, or demobilized from , the project site shall be reasonably dismantled or disassembled and transported separately so as to minimize overweight loads; 2. The maximum weights for vehicles hauling materials to, or within IDNR properties, are 20,000 lbs. (single axle), 34,000 lbs. (tandem axle), 54,000 lbs. (gross using dump truck), and 80,000 lbs. (gross using tractor-semitrailer); and 3. Vehicles will be operated within the speed limits described above with extra care exercised with turns and braking. An addendum will be issued. (07/27/2020)
