Article 481.02(b)Note 1 dictates only Aggregate Wedge Shoulders, Type B are permitted to utilize RAP, however the Agg Surface Course special provision permits the utilization of RAP under its item. Should the 48101200 Aggregate Shlds B Item be amended to 48102100 Agg WEDGE Shld Type B, to also permit RAP usage?
The project should be bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, and the plans and specifications published online. (12/18/2024)

In the special provisions, under Traffic Control & Protection, it states that equipment should be provided for construction staging and detours per the traffic control plans included in construction plans. There is no traffic control plans provided. Can you provide more information for what is needed for traffic control? Is a BLR 21 or 22 needed?
The project is expected to be a moving operation and will not require a detour to be set up. (12/12/2024)
