  • Are the side street returns to be mill and re-paved as well or only the mainline pavement of Somonauk? Side Streets in question are Robinson Ave, Benson Ave, E S Ave, W S Ave, W&E Maple, W&E Chestnut, W Elm, E Railroad and W&E North Ave. If the returns are to be milled and re-paved how far back will be the limits of each return?
    All side streets are to be milled and re-paved through the returns to the point of tangent in curb line with the exception of the following; Robinson Avenue: 30 feet beyond PT Benson Avenue: 70 feet beyond PT West Maple Avenue: 100 feet beyond PT West Chestnut Avenue: 20 feet beyond PT (03/03/2023)

  • the map on page 46 of 92 does not depict the location of the area to be resurfaced, could another one be issued that would show the area to be resurfaced
    The location of the area to be resurfaced is as depicted in the proposed typical sections. The project should be bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, and the plans and specifications published online. (02/07/2023)
