  • These questions pertain to the HMA Mixture Requirement tables on sheet 4 of the plans. 1. Is the correct friction aggregate specified in the table for the top lift of shoulders (BDE Manual)? 2. Based on this project involving work on a low volume roadway, should the mixture composition for the top and bottom lift of shoulders actually be IL 9.5L and IL 19.0L respectively?
