  • Pump Station Mechanical Work 1. Is it the intent of the plans and specs that the suction and discharge piping scheduled to be replaced is to be steel pipe only? Is any of the piping be flanged ductile iron? 2. Are there any domestic product requirements for this project? 3. Is the suction and discharge piping scheduled to be replaced to have any specific interior lining or is it to be bare?
    Regarding Q1. The discharge new piping should be steel. Regarding Q2. The Contractor should review Article 106.01 Source of Supply and Quality Requirements of the Standard Specifications. Please continue to monitor the website for any additional information that may be forthcoming. Regarding Q3. The discharge new piping should be steel. (09/19/2022)
