It appears that the raised reflective pavement markers in the schedule are doubled for the 2 way ambers. For example stations 20+10 to 44+65 shows there to 31 RPM's but if you do 1 every 80' it should be 31. Are these RPM's supposed to be every 40' or is the plan quantity wrong. If the quantity is wrong can an addendum be issued with the correct pay item quantity.
The raised reflective pavement markers are laid out according to IDOT Standard 781001-04 (Typical Applications Raised Reflective Pavement Markers), using the Multi-Lane Undivided detail called out on page 2 the standard. The detail shows the centerline two-way amber reflectors spaced at 40.0' centers. The one-way amber which is located on the lane lines are spaced at 80.0' centers. (10/29/2024)
