For which of these three repairs, Structural Repair of Concrete, PPC I-Beam Repair and Fiber Wrap, can live traffic loading be allowed over the work area? What traffic control standard is to be used for each of these work items? Standard 701406 is a day operations only standard.

Temporary shoring is required for the Structural Repair of Concrete work. Live load on the bridge is OK for all three repairs. The traffic standard shown in the plans is correct. (06/05/2020)
I would like to confirm the 5 Each replacement bearings being installed at the North Abutment are being paid as Furnishing & Erecting Structural Steel (1120 Pounds). Plan sheet 29 makes reference to certain material costs being included in the cost of Elastomeric Bearing Assembly, Type II. Also, the proposed anchor bolt size on this plan sheet is 1-1/4" diameter. The current pay item for anchors indicates 1" diameter.

The bearings are being paid as structural steel and the 1" diameter anchor bolt is correct. An addendum will be issued to correct the notes on plan sheet 29. (06/05/2020)
