As noted in 401-4.9(b) of the standard specifications, “Intermediate roller. The intermediate roller shall be a pneumatic-tired roller or oscillatory roller. A vibratory roller may be used on mixtures containing polymer modified asphalt binder.” (07/20/2021)
The plans have intersections, taxiway, and some other areas. Since Aeronautics doesn't make it clear that there are no APRONS, can you clarify that? Aprons call for a different oil, a SBS 76-28, not sure if anyone talked to the oil guys before spec'ing that out.

As noted in 401-2.3 of the special provisions, “Asphalt Binder Selection Table – IDOT Districts 1-6 (Runway & Taxiway) criteria shall apply”. (07/19/2021)
