Contract Specifics
Pursuant to the Rules for Prequalification of Contractors and Issuance of Plans and Proposals, 44 Illinois Administrative Code 650.70,... "This contract requires, in addition to the normal IDOT prequalifications requirements, that the Contractor be SSPC - QP1 and QP2 certified. Evidence of certification must be provided prior to receiving authorization to bid." Contractors are required to submit copies of current certificates for each Letting. These certificates must be submitted along with the contractor's original BC 57 Affidavit of Availability. (BC 57)

  • There is realy not that much traffic on route 29 at locations 2 and 3. Can a 701316 T.C standard be used on route 29 for locations 2 and 3?
    The project should be bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, and the plans and specifications available online. (02/20/2026)

  • Can more working days be added to this contract? With previous experience with simaler square feet and R.R. involvment 75 working days is not enough time to complete this contract.
    An addendum has been issued to address this. (02/20/2026)
