Would the Department consider approving alternate application equipment and methods utilizing specialized roadside spray equipment operating from the road shoulder; provided such equipment is capable of applying herbicide effectively and uniformly across the required treatment areas, and meets or exceeds the specified application effectiveness, and results in improved efficiency and reduced overall time working along active roadways?
