The pay item for SPBGR Type A shows a quantity of 300'. Based on the drawings the 300' includes the traffic barrier terminals. Is the quantity correct or should it actually be reduced to 175'?

The project should be bid according to the Standard specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, and the plans and specifications published online. Final quantities to be determined by the Engineer. (06/07/2022)
Please clarify the layout of the SM rail. The 5A terminal is shown to NOT have a curled end - that is normally what the curled end is attached to, not the post as is shown on the plan & profile sheet (4 of 11). Also, how do you intend to connect the SM Rail to the guardrail? It looks as if you're terminating the SM rail at the last post.

The SM rail will transition to the guardrail through the use of the Traffic Barrier Terminal 5A. The end of rail taper shown on Sheet 5 will allow you to bolt the curled end section to the SM Rail. (06/07/2022)
