  • The Work Zones section of the provision for Removal and Disposal of Regulated Substances states that work zones are applicable for ISGS Sites 4513-1 and 4513-40, but there is no heading for site 4513-1 in the list and it appears the list may be cutoff / incomplete (the first four areas/sets of stationing have no ISGS site heading, first site listed is 4513-29). Can you confirm whether the list of contract specific work areas is complete and which ISGS site the first four areas fall within?
    The list is complete for this contract. The first four areas are missing the title ISGS Site 4513-1 ROW, IL 159, Fairview Heights, St. Clair Co. (04/14/2026)

  • For clarification/correction can the District reach out to BDE to clarify which locations contain the hazardous waste material, address material that requires landfill disposal that is labeled as Eligible for use on-site as fill, and provide an addendum with the correct regulated waste locations/classifications
    The contractor should refer to the Removal and Disposal of Regulated Substances special provision. (04/09/2026)

  • The project includes 32 CY of Hazardous Waste however there are no locations listed as meeting the criteria of Article 669.05(a)(6); which locations should be managed as Hazardous Waste
    The contractor should bid according to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Highway Standards, and the plans and specifications available online. (04/03/2026)
